Republican candidate Donald Trump may be leading in several presidential polls, but allegations of his involvement in illegal efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia could potentially prevent him from taking the White House podium and rallying the “Make America Great Again” slogan.

During an appearance on “ABC This Week” on Sunday, Virginia’s Democratic senator, Tim Kaine, argued that there is a strong case to be made for disqualifying Donald Trump from the presidential polls ballot. This disqualification would be based on the 14th Amendment’s prohibition against insurrectionists holding public office.
