Maryanne Trump Barry
The older sister of former President Donald Trump, has passed away at 86. Responding to a call at her Manhattan apartment, medical personnel declared her dead with no indications of foul play or trauma. Appointed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit by President Bill Clinton in 1999, Barry spent two decades on the Philadelphia-based appeals court before retiring in 2019 amid a civil misconduct investigation into her family’s alleged tax-dodging schemes. Her retirement concluded the investigation. In 2020, Maryanne Trump Barry revealed audio recordings of Barry criticizing her brother’s presidency, highlighting his “lying” and “cruelty.” Barry is survived by her two siblings, Elizabeth Trump Grau and former President Donald Trump.
